The Story Behind
CJG Materials
The C.J. Garvey Company was founded in 1972 as a Manufacturers Representative by Charles (Chuck) Garvey Sr. His son, C.J. Garvey joined the company in 1979. CJ worked alongside his dad expanding CJG Materials into the company it is today. In 1994, Chuck retired, and CJ took over the business. Tara joined the team in 1995, and Al in 1998. John and Connor Garvey joined the family business in 2021, leading the third generation to success. Although there have been changes since our inception, one thing remains: the VALUE the CJG Material Solutions brings to the table.
Our Commitment to Quality Plastics
We pride ourselves in being a "hands-on" rep group. We stay engaged from start to finish in the sales process. We have established relationships with local distributors throughout our territory as well as many end users. We create synergy with our manufacturers and customers. This results in material being specified and product being sold.
